01 — WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

One wrong link can cost you your entire ad account

Most marketing tools are quickly put together: a layer around someone else's software, linked via scraping, browser automation, or unauthorized access. That works, until it goes wrong.

And it often goes wrong. With accounts that we take over from other tools, we see that about 30% of unofficial integrations lead at some point to a warning, restriction, or complete block of the ad account. A blocked Google Ads or Meta account means: campaigns turned off immediately, no leads, no revenue from paid traffic, and weeks to months of appeal procedures with no guarantee of recovery.

For an SME that depends on online advertising, that is not a technical problem, that is a business risk.

Google and Meta block accounts linked to unapproved software, even if you were unaware of it yourself.

A block often affects not only the account, but also the domain, the payment method, and linked accounts.

Recovery is not guaranteed. Some accounts are never recovered.

02 — DEFINITIONS

What is the difference between an official API integration and an unofficial integration?

An official API integration is direct access to an advertising platform through the interface published and approved by the platform itself, such as the Google Ads API or the Meta Marketing API. The software has been reviewed by the platform, access is authorized, and usage falls within the terms and conditions.

An unofficial connection is any other way of managing an ad account: scraping, browser automation, shared logins, purchased or rented accounts, or tools that piggyback on someone else's access via an intermediate layer ("wrapper"). This violates the terms of Google and Meta and is the most common reason for account suspensions when using marketing tools.

Another term you often hear is vibe-coded software. Software put together with AI in a short amount of time without professional architecture, security review, or a maintenance plan. Fine for a prototype. Unacceptable when your advertising budget, customer data, and account access are running through it.

03 — THE SECURE APPROACH WITH AIZY

Aizy is an officially approved partner on every platform

Aizy has its own platform-approved production access. Our software is ours, runs on our infrastructure, and was reviewed by Google, Meta, OpenAI, and TikTok before we were allowed to manage even a single campaign.

Official Google Developer

Approved production access to the Google Ads API. Campaign automation that is fully compliant with Google's terms.

Official Meta Marketing API

Direct, authorized access to the Meta Marketing API for Facebook and Instagram. No browser automation, no shared tokens.

Official OpenAI Platform

Native AI infrastructure via the official OpenAI Platform. Your data is not used to train public models.

Official TikTok Developer

Enterprise-ready integration with the TikTok Marketing API.

Getting approved on these platforms takes months of reviews, security audits, and compliance checks. That is exactly why most tools don't do it. And exactly why we do.

05 — RECOGNITION CHECKLIST

How to spot an unsafe marketing tool in 5 questions

1

Does the tool ask for your Google or Meta password?

Official links work via OAuth authorization, never via your login.

2

Can the supplier show their official partner status?

Ask for the Google API approval and Meta app review. No proof means no.

3

Does the tool work via a clever detour?

Every detour is by definition not approved.

4

Who is liable if your account is blocked?

Read the terms and conditions. With unofficial tools, you are the one responsible.

5

Does the tool run on its own software, or as a layer around other tools?

Wrappers inherit all risks from every layer below them.

Entrepreneur looks out over the city after a blocked ad account

The business impact of a blocked ad account

A blockade is not "just lodging an objection". This is what happens in practice:

DAY 1

All campaigns will stop immediately. No ads, no leads, no revenue from paid traffic.

WEEK 1–2

Objection procedure is ongoing. Platform response times are not guaranteed. Competitors are taking over your ad position.

WEEK 3–8

In case of rejection: new objections, escalations, sometimes legal action. Opening new accounts is detected and blocked again.

STRUCTURAL

Even after recovery, you will start with lower quality scores and higher costs per click. Some accounts never recover.

€80,000 in lost revenue in two months

Do the math: a company that advertises €10,000 per month with an average ROAS of 4 loses €80,000 in revenue during a two-month block. The savings from a cheap tool pale in comparison.
